How to Create Custom Field Labels in an Organization
NODE40 Allows Organization Administrators to customize up to three transaction labels. These labels are a global setting and once created will be available on all User Profiles within your particular organization. Transaction data included in any of the three custom fields will also be present in the Balance Sheet Report.
Step 1: Ensure you are logged into an Organization with an “Administrator” Role
Step 2: Navigate to the “Settings” area of the Organization
Step 3: In the “Custom Fields” area, you may enter custom labels in up to 3 fields. Be sure to click “save” after entering your label.
Step 4: Now, expand any transaction in any User Profile in your Organization to see your newly-labeled custom fields. Use this field to enter additional notes, tags or descriptions to the transaction. The text added will be saved in the details of the transaction and will also be included in any Balance Sheet Reports that are generated.
