How to Add a Multi-Sig Wallet Address to NODE40 Balance

A multi-signature address is an address that requires more than one signatures to authorize a transaction. If you provide NODE40 with the Extended public key for each party, we will create a fiat-denominated ledger for your transactions.

  1. Log into your NODE40 Portfolio and click on + New Ledger.

  2. Select a Source (example: Bitcoin Digital Currency Wallet)

  3. From the drop down box, choose Multi-sig as your wallet type.

  4. Provide NODE40 with the following...

    1. EXTENDED PUBLIC KEY (XPUB) Enter a key for each party that a signature is required.

    2. NUMBER OF SIGNATURES REQUIRED This wallet requires at least 1 signature.
Note: Enter a number that is one less than the amount of signatures provided. So for example if you have 3 xpub keys, you will enter “2” in the “Number of Signatures” required box.

    3. LEDGER NAME This is optional and may be changed later.

  5. Click the blue create Ledger button. Your transactions will start uploading.
