How to Update/Sync Your Ledgers on NODE40 Balance

All ledgers on NODE40 Balance require a manual sync. This page will outline 3 different ways a user can sync transactions on the platform.

Sync All
All ledgers can be synced at once by using the "Sync All" button on the right side of the page.

  1. Simply click "Sync All" and a box will pop up, which by default has all ledgers selected. This will allow you to leave all ledgers selected, or select individuals to sync.

  2. After making your selection(s), press "Sync All" again.

If your ledger used a file upload, the system will display this as such, indicating that particular ledger will require a manual file upload in order to update.

NOTE: You may continue to use the system as the sync is performed, however you will be unable to generate any reports until the sync process finishes and your cost basis is recalculated.

Individual Syncing

You may also quickly perform a manual sync on just one ledger.

  1. From the Ledgers tab, navigate over to the right hand side of your screen and click the 3 dots

[... ] where you see TOTAL VALUEthen click on “Sync (source name) ledgers.”

  1. If you have multiple sources (ethereum wallets, exchanges, etc) you may initiate a sync on each additional source(s) before the first one finishes. The time it will take to fully sync each ledger will vary depending on the amount of new data there is to bring in. You will receive an email from no-reply@node40.com notifying you once we are finished with the sync(s).

*If you would like to sync just one coin at a time, you can click into that particular coin's ledger, navigate to the top right hand side of the page and click Sync. This will update transactions for just one single coin associated with the specific exchange or wallet you are currently viewing.
