How to Rebuild a Ledger

A rebuild in NODE40 removes all existing transactions for a specific wallet or exchange and re-imports them from the source.

Note: Rebuilding a source will wipe out any manual transactions, tags or modifications of any kind made in the ledgers of that source.

Rebuilds are typically required when an exchange updates its transaction data or when NODE40 releases improvements or bug fixes. This ensures your transactions are processed using the most current data structure for greater accuracy.

This can be done by accessing the menu shown below. Rebuilds can also be performed from the Sources tab.
